Germany is set to remain the 20th largest consumer of peas globally in 2026, with consumption standing at 32,000 metric tons. Since 2017, demand has remained stable, with Morocco ranking ahead at 32,000 metric tons. China, Ethiopia, and Bangladesh rank second, third, and fourth respectively. German pea production is expected to fall by 0.3% year-on-year to 221,800 metric tons in 2026 from 225,980 metric tons in 2021. Since 1966, German supply has decreased by 4.9% year-on-year.
