Colombian pea consumption is set to rise to 91,000 metric tons by 2026, from 89,000 metric tons in 2021. This marks a 0.4% yearly increase since 2017. Colombia ranks 8th in the world for pea consumption, with the United States, China, Ethiopia and Bangladesh taking the top four spots. Colombian pea production is expected to reach 202,200 metric tons by 2026, up from 163,230 metric tons in 2021. This marks an average yearly increase of 3.6% since 1966.
