Thailand was ranked higher, with 8 thousand metric tons consumed. China, Ethiopia and Bangladesh were the second, third and fourth biggest consumers respectively. Meanwhile, Chilean pea production is set to decrease by 6.5% annually until 2026. In 2021, the country produced 966 metric tons, a decline of 8.5% since 1966.
