Peas are set to see a promising increase in Tajikistan over the next few years. Production is predicted to reach 16,390 metric tons by 2026, a 3.2% year-on-year growth rate since 1997. In 2018, Tajikistan consumed 4 thousand metric tons of peas, up from 4 thousand metric tons the year before. That placed the country at number 63 in the world rankings, overtaken by Lebanon. China, Ethiopia and Bangladesh came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4.
