Kazakhstan ranked number 18 in 2021. India came in number 1 with 2,500,000 Metric Tons, China, Myanmar and the USA respectively followed in numbers 2, 3 and 4. Kazakhstan is set to see an increase in pea consumption and production over the next five years. Consumption of peas in Kazakhstan is predicted to reach 9,390 metric tons in 2026, up 0.6% from 2021's 9,000 metric tons. Since 2017, there has been no change in Kazakhstani demand. In 2021, the country was 43rd in the global ranking, behind Indonesia with 9,000 metric tons. China, Ethiopia and Bangladesh were ranked second, third, and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, production of peas in Kazakhstan is expected to reach 150,840 metric tons by 2026, a 2.8% year-on-year average rate increase since 1997. In 2021, Kazakhstan was ranked 18th in the world. India led the ranking with 2.5 million metric tons, followed by China, Myanmar and the USA in second, third and fourth place respectively.
