Swiss pea consumption is set to remain unchanged between 2021 and 2026, with 11,000 metric tons of peas consumed each year. In 2021, Switzerland was the 40th largest consumer in the world, overtaken by Uganda's 11,000 metric tons. China, Ethiopia, and Bangladesh ranked numbers two, three, and four respectively in this ranking. Swiss pea production is set to reach 14,100 metric tons by 2026, a 0.2% year-on-year average increase since 1988. Over that period, Swiss supply has grown by 9.1% year-on-year.
