Finnish pea production is set to reach 40,300 metric tons by 2026, according to a new report. This is an increase of 3.5% from the 32,700 metric tons produced in 2021. Since 1966, Finnish pea production has grown by an average of 5.5% year-on-year. Finnish pea consumption was 6,000 metric tons in 2018, up from 6,000 metric tons in 2017. Finland was ranked 57th in the world in 2018, behind Senegal at 6,000 metric tons. China, Ethiopia and Bangladesh respectively came in at second, third and fourth place.
