Dane Pea production totalised 12,810 metric tons in 2021, a 15.3% decrease from the 15,120 metric tons in 2020. This marks a 6.2% decrease from 1966. Consumption of Dane Pea reached 4,000 metric tons in 2018, a slight increase from 4,000 metric tons in 2017. Romania took the lead with 4,000 metric tons, followed by China, Ethiopia and Bangladesh respectively.
