Since 1966, Israeli supply has increased by 21% each year. In 2018, Israeli pea consumption reached 3,000 metric tons, up from the 3,000 metric tons consumed in 2017. This placed Israel at 72nd in the global rankings, just behind Venezuela, who consumed 3,000 metric tons. China, Ethiopia, and Bangladesh ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in terms of pea consumption.
