Pea supply in Montenegro is expected to reach 1,470 metric tons by 2026, a slight increase of 0.6% on average each year since 2011. Consumption of peas totalled 1,000 metric tons in 2018, up from 2017. Montenegro ranked 90th globally in terms of pea consumption, with Suriname taking the lead at 1,000 metric tons. China, Ethiopia and Bangladesh followed close behind, taking second, third and fourth place respectively.
