Egypt's soybean production is expected to reach 48,500 metric tons by 2026, up from 45,630 metric tons in 2021 — an average annual growth rate of 1%. Since 1977, Egyptian production has grown by 0.2% year-on-year. Burkina Faso overtook Egypt in 2021, but the United States, Argentina and China still hold the top three spots.
