German soybean consumption is projected to drop slightly to 66,000 metric tons by 2026, down 0.3% year-on-year on average. This follows a 5.7% year-on-year fall since 2017. In 2021, Germany was ranked 15th, while Cambodia overtook it at 67,000 metric tons. Vietnam, Japan and Pakistan ranked second, third and fourth respectively. German soybean production is on the rise and is predicted to reach 117,720 metric tons by 2026, a 4.5% year-on-year increase on average. Since 1994, production has increased by 15.9% year-on-year. In 2021, Germany was ranked 38th, with South Korea overtaking it at 89,870 metric tons. The United States, Argentina and China ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
