Kenyan soybean consumption fell 33.3% year on year in 2021, down to 2,000 metric tons. This was the lowest level since 2017. Sweden took the lead, with 2,000 metric tons, followed by Vietnam, Japan and Pakistan. Kenyan soybean production is expected to reach 2,490 metric tons by 2026, growing an average of 0.4% year on year since 1995. Burundi was the top producer at 2,430 metric tons in 2021, followed by the United States, Argentina and China.
