Zimbabwean soybean consumption is forecast to remain unchanged at 4,000 metric tons by 2026. Since 2017, demand has been stable. In 2021, Zimbabwe was ranked 44th in the world, with Botswana just ahead at 4,000 metric tons. Vietnam, Japan and Pakistan were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, Zimbabwean soybean production is projected to drop by 5.4% annually to 28,430 metric tons by 2026. Since 1966, output has declined by 3.2% per year. In 2021, Egypt led the world with 40,520 metric tons, while Zimbabwe ranked 44th. The United States, Argentina and China were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
