Austrian soybean consumption is expected to remain steady over the next five years, with an estimated 19,000 metric tons in 2026. Since 2017, Austria's demand has remained constant, ranking 28th in 2021. Angola came in just ahead at the same 19,000 metric tons, while Vietnam, Japan and Pakistan took the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots respectively. Meanwhile, Austrian soybean production is forecast to increase by 3.2% annually over the next five years, reaching 281,310 metric tons in 2026. Since 1993, the country's supply has grown 8.7% each year, with Benin taking the 24th spot in 2021 with 232,050 metric tons. The United States, Argentina and China were the next in line with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions respectively.
