Romania's soybean production is set to grow 3% annually for the next five years, rising to 594,000 metric tons in 2026. Since 1966, the country has seen a 13.6% average year-on-year growth rate. In 2021, Romania was the 17th largest producer of soybeans and was overtaken by Nigeria. The United States, Argentina, and China followed in second, third, and fourth place, respectively.
