Slovene soybean consumption is forecast to remain stable at 1,000 metric tons through 2026. In 2021, the country ranked 54th globally, with Kenya in the lead at 1,000 metric tons. Vietnam, Japan and Pakistan were the next three largest consumers, respectively. Slovene soybean production is projected to grow 2.9% year-on-year, reaching 6,420 metric tons by 2026. From 1997 to 2021, production decreased by 6.1% each year. Slovenia ranked 65th in 2021, with El Salvador at 5,410 metric tons. The United States, Argentina and China were the world's top three producers, respectively.
