Ukrainian consumption of soybeans is predicted to remain stable at around 1,000 metric tons by 2026, the same level as 2021. Since 2017, no change has been reported. In 2021, Ukraine was ranked 54th in the world, while Argentina led the list with 1,000 metric tons. Vietnam, Japan and Pakistan followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, Ukrainian soybean production is set to increase by 2.3% year on year, reaching nearly 4.9 million metric tons by 2026. Since 1997, production has decreased by 0.1% annually. Russia was the leading producer in 2021, followed by the US, Argentina and China.
