Myanmar was 24th in the world rankings in 2021; Rwanda was ahead with 24,000 metric tons. Vietnam, Japan and Pakistan ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, Burmese production of soybeans is forecast to hit 129,700 metric tons by 2026, a 1.1% year-on-year decrease from 138,390 metric tons in 2021. Since 1966, supply has dropped 1.5% annually. Myanmar was 33rd in the world rankings in 2021; Iran came first with 138,390 metric tons. The US, Argentina and China ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
