Venezuelan soybean production dropped sharply in 2021. Output totaled 1.6 million metric tons, a 42.8% decrease compared to the previous year. Over the past 30 years, soybean production in the country has declined by 1.5% annually. Sri Lanka overtook Venezuela this year, making it the 79th largest soybean producer in the world. The US, Argentina, and China were the top three producers, respectively.
