Meanwhile, Korean onion production is expected to drop slightly to 1.35 million metric tons by 2026. From 2017 to 2021, supply decreased by 3.1% year on year. Uzbekistan overtook Korea as the top producer in 2021 with 1.39 million metric tons, followed by India, the United States and Egypt.
