The country ranked 133rd in 2021, with Belize overtaking it at 2,000 metric tons. India, the United States and Egypt ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively in this ranking. Bahamian onion production has also remained stable, with 1,000 metric tons in 2018, slightly higher than 2017’s figure.
