Chadian onion consumption is set to reach 22,100 metric tons by 2026, up slightly from 22,000 metric tons in 2021, according to a new report. Honduras came ahead with 22,000 metric tons, while India, the United States, and Egypt respectively were numbers 2, 3, and 4. Chadian onion production is also set to reach 24,140 metric tons by 2026, up slightly from 24,000 metric tons in 2021. Supply has remained stable since 2017, when the country ranked 92nd in the world. Namibia came ahead with 24,000 metric tons, while India, the United States, and Egypt respectively were numbers 2, 3, and 4.
