Meanwhile, consumption of Swiss onions is expected to remain static over the same period, reaching 42,000 metric tons by 2026. This is down from 42,000 metric tons in 2021, an average decline of 0.8% each year. Switzerland came in 90th in 2021, with Ireland in the lead at 42,000 metric tons. India, the United States, and Egypt were again the top three countries.
