Slovak consumption of onions is set to drop by 2.2% to 26,000 metric tons by 2026 from 29,000 metric tons in 2021. This marks a decrease of 3.2% since 2017. Slovakia ranked 100th in 2021, with Panama ahead of them at 29,000 metric tons. India, the United States and Egypt respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Slovak production of onions is set to increase by 0.5% to 25,870 metric tons by 2026 from 25,000 metric tons in 2021. This marks a decrease of 3.7% since 2017. Slovakia ranked 91st in 2021, with Serbia ahead of them at 25,000 metric tons. India, the United States and Egypt respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
