In 2021, it ranked 87th, with Croatia coming in ahead at 43,000 metric tons. India, the US and Egypt were respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Similarly, Armenia's onion production is expected to decline 1.7% to 36,210 metric tons by 2026, from 40,000 metric tons in 2021. It has grown 0.9% year-on-year since 2017. In 2021, it ranked 79th, with Costa Rica overtaking it with 40,000 metric tons. India, the US and Egypt were respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
