The production of chickpeas in Egypt is projected to reach 7,130 metric tons by 2026. This is a 1% year-on-year average rate of growth since 1966, when the supply of chickpeas was at 6,740 metric tons. Kazakhstan produced the highest amount in 2021, at 6,740 metric tons, followed by Myanmar, Russia and Ethiopia in second, third and fourth place respectively.
