Since 1966, Bangladeshi chickpea supply has decreased by nearly 10% each year. Tunisia overtook Bangladesh with 3.8 million metric tons in 2021, making it the number 32 producer in the world. Myanmar, Russia and Ethiopia ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
