Togolese chickpea production is on the rise. Last year, it reached 2,400 metric tons, up from 2,080 metric tons in 2021. This equates to a 2.2% year-on-year growth since 2014. Togo ranked 35th in 2021, with Moldova coming in first with 2,080 metric tons. Myanmar, Russia and Ethiopia were the next three biggest producers.
