Moldavian chickpea production is on the rise, with an average growth rate of 2% year on year. In 2021, the country was ranked 34th worldwide with 3,190 metric tons. Lebanon was ahead with 3,190 metric tons, followed by Myanmar, Russia, and Ethiopia in the top four. Since 2000, Moldavian supply of chickpeas has increased by an average of 1.6% year on year. By 2026, Moldavian chickpea production is expected to hit 3,610 metric tons.
