Jordanian chickpea production is expected to reach 6,080 metric tons by 2026. This would be a 3.1 percent year-on-year growth from the 5,010 metric tons recorded in 2021. Since 1966, Jordanian supply has increased by almost 20 percent each year. In 2021, Jordan ranked 29th in production, with Uganda coming in ahead at 5,010 metric tons. Myanmar, Russia and Ethiopia were the next top three producers.
