Mauritius is set to see an increase in soup imports over the next five years, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 1.6%. In 2021, the country ranked 108th in the world, with 224,940 kilograms of imports. Israel was the leading importer with the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom coming in at second, third and fourth respectively. Export of Mauritian soup rose 19.8% year-on-year from 2017 to 2018, reaching 653 kilograms. Since 2005, however, exports have decreased by an average of 2.8% a year. In 2018, the country was ranked 105th in the world, with Malta as the leading exporter. Canada, Senegal and Germany respectively held the second, third and fourth positions.
