China's exports of soup are expected to reach 27 million kilograms by 2026, an increase of 2.2% on average year-on-year from 23.8 million kilograms in 2021. This marks an increase of 2.8% year-on-year since 1997. In 2021, China was the 14th-largest exporter of soup, while Thailand held the top spot at 23.8 million kilograms. Canada, Senegal and Germany followed respectively in second, third and fourth. Meanwhile, China's imports of soup are set to hit 8.1 million kilograms by 2026, a 2.6% rise year-on-year from 6.9 million kilograms in 2021. This marks a 1.8% rise year-on-year since 1997. In 2021, China was the 27th-largest importer of soup, with the United Arab Emirates overtaking it with 6.9 million kilograms. The Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom came in second, third and fourth respectively.
