Benin's soup exports nearly halved in 2021, totaling 2,420 kilograms – a 50.4% decrease from 2020. Since 2013, exports have declined by 46.2% year-on-year. Benin was the 98th largest exporter in 2021, being overtaken by Zimbabwe, with Canada, Senegal and Germany respectively in positions 2, 3 and 4. Benin's soup imports are forecast to reach 10,187,000 kilograms by 2026, up 2.7% year-on-year. Since 2003, imports have increased by 1.2% annually. Russia was the largest supplier in 2021, with 8,671,500 kilograms, while the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
