Greek chestnut production is expected to rise by 1.7% each year, from 32,520 metric tons in 2021 to 35,790 metric tons by 2026. Since 1966, Greek supply has increased annually by 1.9%. In 2021, Greece was the seventh-largest producer of chestnuts, with Portugal taking the lead at 32,520 metric tons. Spain, Bolivia and South Korea came in at second, third and fourth in the ranking.
