Since 1997, the yearly decline has been a steady 6.3%. In 2021, Azerbaijan was in the sixteenth spot in the rankings, behind Peru's 550 metric tons. Spain, Bolivia, and South Korea were the second, third, and fourth-ranked countries, respectively.
