Almond production in Azerbaijan is set to reach 1,200 metric tons by 2026. This represents an average annual growth of 1.9% since 2021, when the country's production totaled 1,030 metric tons. Since 1997, the annual production of almonds in Azerbaijan has declined by 0.5% on average. In 2021, the country ranked 30th in the world, just behind Swaziland which produced 1,030 metric tons. Spain, Iran, and Australia took the next three spots in the ranking.
