Chinese almond production is expected to reach nearly 50,000 metric tons by 2026. This is a 1.3% growth from the 46,250 metric tons produced in 2021 and a 1.4% growth since 1966. In 2021, China was the tenth largest producer of almonds. Algeria surpassed China in production with 46,250 metric tons, followed by Spain, Iran and Australia.
