Iraq's almond production is expected to drop slightly over the next five years, according to latest figures. The current figures show that Iraq's almond supply has been declining at a rate of 0.4% per year since 1966. It produced 438 metric tons of almonds in 2021, down from 449 metric tons in 2021. Moldova has now overtaken Iraq as the world's 36th biggest almond producer with 449 metric tons. Spain, Iran and Australia are the second, third and fourth largest producers, respectively.
