Since 2019, Polish demand for fish has increased by 2.5% each year. In 2023, Poland ranked 23rd in global fish consumption, with Angola slightly ahead at the same consumption level of 268,000 metric tons. The top three positions in the ranking were held by Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand, respectively.
