In 2023, Kuwait ranked 83rd globally in fish consumption, with Mozambique surpassing it with the same consumption level of 24,600 metric tons. Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand occupied the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively, in the global ranking for fish consumption.
