Colombia's salmon imports are expected to reach 297,150 kilograms by 2026, growing at an annual rate of 2.7%. Since 1999, demand has grown by 7.1% each year. In 2021, the country was ranked 50th, with 250,140 kilograms imported, only behind Peru. Poland, the United States and France were the second, third and fourth highest importers respectively. In 2018, Colombia was ranked 40th, with South Africa leading the pack at 17,000 kilograms. Sweden, Chile and the United Kingdom were the next three biggest importers.
