Senegalese demand for salmon is on the rise. Imports are expected to hit 2,020 kilograms by 2026, growing at an average of 2.7% each year. Since 2002, the country has seen a 14% increase in imports annually. In 2021, Senegal ranked 92nd in the world for salmon imports. Botswana came in ahead of Senegal with 1,700 kilograms. Meanwhile, Poland, the United States and France were the top three importers, respectively.
