Tunisia's salmon imports are predicted to increase steadily over the next five years. Last year, the country imported 86,760 kilograms of salmon, and this figure is expected to rise to about 105,000 kilograms by 2026. Since 1999, Tunisia has seen an average yearly growth of 8.2% in its salmon imports. In 2021, it was ranked 68th in the world in terms of salmon imports, while Angola overtook Tunisia with 86,760 kilograms. Poland, the United States and France were the top three countries in terms of salmon imports.
