Exports of Norwegian Salmon are set to reach 1 billion kilograms by 2026. This is a 1.7% increase on the 910.9 million kilograms exported in 2021, and a 2.3% rise on the average since 1998. Sweden, Chile and the United Kingdom are the second, third and fourth largest exporters, respectively. Norwegian Salmon imports are expected to reach 130.5 million kilograms by 2026, a 3% year-on-year growth from 107.6 million kilograms in 2021. Since 1998, Norwegian demand for salmon has risen by 26.4% year-on-year. In 2021, Bermuda was the largest importer of Norwegian salmon at 107.6 million kilograms, followed by Poland, the United States, and France.
