Spanish salmon exports are expected to reach 1.1 million kilograms by 2026, growing at an average rate of 2.3% year on year. This is a decrease of 1.7% year on year since 1994. Spain was ranked 20th in 2021, behind Latvia's 943,160 kilograms. Sweden, Chile and the United Kingdom came in second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Spanish salmon imports are forecast to reach 51 million kilograms by 2026, increasing at a 1.5% year on year average rate. Since 1994, demand has grown 1.4% year on year. In 2021, Spain was ranked twelfth, behind Finland's 46 million kilograms. Poland, the United States and France were second, third and fourth in the ranking.
