Bulgaria placed ahead of Macedonia at 48,110 kilograms, while Sweden, Chile, and the United Kingdom were ranked second, third, and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, the country's salmon imports are projected to grow to 226,000 kilograms by 2026. This is a 3.9% year-on-year increase, with Macedonia placed 54th in 2021. Oman preceded the country at 177,260 kilograms, while Poland, the United States and France respectively occupied the second, third, and fourth positions. Since 2000, Macedonian demand for salmon imports has grown 8.7% year on year.
