Imports of salmon to Finland are expected to reach 59 million kilograms by 2026, up from 49 million kilograms in 2021. This is an average growth rate of 2.9% year-on-year. Since 1993, demand for Finnish salmon has risen by 14.7%. In 2021, Finland was ranked eleventh; Italy had overtaken with 49 million kilograms. Poland, the US and France were the second, third and fourth-largest importers respectively.
