Burmese imports of salmon are set to reach 47,000 kilograms by 2026. In 2021, that figure was 35,000 kilograms, representing a 4.7% year-on-year growth rate. Since 2015, Burmese demand for salmon has grown by 101%. The Maldives overtook Burmese demand in 2021, ranking 78th in the world. Poland, the United States and France ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
