Swiss shellfish exports are forecast to decline by nearly 5% annually until 2026, having already decreased by 14.5% since 2000. Hungary was the biggest exporter in 2021, while Switzerland came in at number 40 with exports of $358,700. Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia were the next largest exporters. Imports are expected to increase slightly over the same period, with Switzerland standing at number 19 in 2021 with imports of $67.3 million. Norway was the leading importer, followed by Japan, South Korea, and the UK.
